Variegated Ivy, Philodendron 'Brasil' & Satin Pothos – Trailing Houseplant Collection (Set of 3)

Three trailing houseplants with three different leaf shapes, for shelves, hanging planters and any raised surface.

Hedera helix 'Variegata', variegated ivy, has small pointed lobed leaves edged in cream and is the toughest of the three. Philodendron hederaceum 'Brasil' carries heart-shaped leaves splashed lime green over deep green and grows fast, trailing or climbing. Scindapsus pictus 'Trebie', satin pothos, has larger heart-shaped leaves in velvety dark green with generous silver markings.

Give the group bright to medium indirect light out of direct sun, which scorches all three and dulls the markings. Let the top two or three centimetres of compost dry before watering again and ease off through autumn and winter. They are happy in ordinary household humidity, though the philodendron and the satin pothos grow faster in a more humid room such as a bathroom. Keep them between about 15C and 25C. Feed every two to four weeks in spring and summer, and prune leggy stems to keep the plants bushy.

Supplied as three established plants in 1 litre root balls, ready to pot into containers of your own. Ivy is harmful to dogs, cats, rabbits and rodents if eaten and its sap irritates skin, and the philodendron and the satin pothos are also harmful if eaten, so hang them out of reach.
